Apprenticeships in NVQ Hairdressing
An apprenticeship in hairdressing covers a wide range of topics and skills and usually last 12-18 months. Training takes place in the Love is in the Hair salon and tutoring is held on Mondays and Tuesdays with practical and theoretical course work being covered. Details of what’s included is listed below…
Academy training: Monday 11am – 5pm & Tuesday 10am – 5.30pm
Level 2 Hairdressing
- Shampooing
- Blow-drying
- Setting
- Cutting and colouring
- Develop and maintain effectiveness at work
Optional units such as Men’s hairdressing, reception, plait and twist, perms
Level 3 Hairdressing
Additional skills and course work includes…
- Client consultation
- Creatively Cutting
- Creatively Style and dress
- Creatively Colouring
- Colour correction
Optional units can be discussed on application.
Refresher Courses
These are available on demand – please as us.
NVQ level 2 & 3 Hairdressing training
Private courses can be fitted around own commitments, fees are £3000.00 plus £325.00 city and guilds fees, this can be paid £300 per month for 10 months.
